A Peaceful Glamping Experience
This peaceful escape is for all you glamping enthusiasts! You can truly unplug, relax and unwind at The Yurt at Gristmill. This is an off-grid rental with no electricity or running water but comes fully stocked with everything you should need to make your stay convenient! Dip your toes or pull up a chair in Potato Creek! Close to Spooner, Trego and Hayward, many great restaurants and attractions. Want to bring some friends? Ask us about our rental next door!

**Please note there is no running water, electricity, bathroom, Wi-Fi or tv/cable at The Yurt. **
KITCHEN: We do provide a propane two burner cook top for your use and plenty of dishes and utensils. There is a French press for coffee and pots/pans.
LIGHTS: We provide plenty of battery-operated lights and lanterns throughout the yurt and keep extra batteries on hand.
WATER: We will provide a 7-gallon jug of water filled with water from a local artesian well. We do still recommend brining your own drinking water and leaving this for cooking/washing hands/dishes.
LINENS: The Yurt will come with clean linens and blankets, but guests must provide their own towels if needed/wanted.
OUTHOUSE: There is an outhouse on the property for your use. It is clean regularly and stocked with toilet paper.
GRILL: We provide a Weber charcoal grill, guests must bring their own charcoal.
FIREPIT: We have a fire-pit for your use! Please bring your own firewood - you can get from local roadside stands or any gas station in Spooner.
-We do not have a place to store cold food/drink so recommend bringing a cooler.
**Please note: This is a YURT in the Northwoods - there will be mosquitos and wood ticks, if you aren't a fan of either then this isn't the place for you.
**The Yurt can get quite warm in the summer months, if you have a battery-operated fan, we suggest bringing it. We do have plenty of windows to open and both doors offer a screened window. It cools down nicely when all are open and temps lower at night.

Other things to note
This is a "leave no trace" rental, please BRING IN AND BRING OUT your own trash.
We ask that guests clean up after themselves as much as possible upon check-out. We put fresh linens on and do minimal cleaning in-between renters, this allows us to NOT charge a cleaning fee.
